Prompting is really going away. Not that promising skills are irrelevant. I think promising taught a lot of us how to be clear-minded and how to speak clearly and think clearly. I know it did that for me. But promising as a special set of structures that you have to give to help the AI understand you, that's going away. That's going away. And the reason why it's going away is that the newer models, the 10 trillion and parameter models that we've had since April, they don't really need any of that structure to interpret. I've I've now been in a position recently where I just use whisper flow. And that means I'm talking and whisper flow does some minimal formatting. And then it just sticks it into the chat box and it goes. And I have to talk in a way that's coherent enough that I provide instructions. Uh I guess I've been practicing a lot with typing or maybe making these TikToks uh it it works for me. doesn't work for everybody. But it's not a formal prompt. It's not a special, okay, begin with this role and then do this thing. And that's significantly different than the world we were living in even eight months ago. It's kind of funny to me how fast that's changed because now it's about, do I have the imagination to envision an outcome in a workflow that's bigger for my computer use with my AI. I don't know. Like I have to ask myself that every day. I'm imagining enough for the AI to do. And that's a kind of a funny place to be because I used to be I was imagining for me and the work I was going to do and now I'm imagining for this like bunch of agents that are running like 10 parallel work streams on my computer and can I kind of keep them occupied? And in that world I find the prompting doesn't matter as much as taking time to go like I don't know, touch grass, hike, get some sunshine, find something that helps me to understand where I want to go with purpose long term and then come back to the computer and use it. And it's actually very handy because kind of you can run automatons and it will run for you and you're you're still productive if you need to be. Um so there you go. That's my thought. Promptsing is kind of dead, but the workflow piece is just spinning up and it requires us to have that background understanding that prompts it gave us. Cheers.
