my first SAT score that still got me into Stanford. My first SAT score and I still got into Stanford, I got into three Ivy League schools and a bunch of T25 schools. My name is Javier. I transferred from community college to Stanford a year ago. And this is a very low score for Stanford, even a 10th grader. If you're planning to take the T10 school, you better have the high 1300s, low 1400s at least in your PSAT. So you can plan to go to one of those schools. But the day I took this exam, I didn't even know what an SAT was. I was like, we're just taking a test, I guess. I did eventually get a 1380, but that's still so low for Stanford where the average is like 1540 to 1560. I thought about it from there was that I either work my way up to 1500 with so many hours of work, but that wouldn't add so much value to my application. The added value there based on that time was a no-brainer for me. Unless you can raise that score in a couple weeks or a couple months, I wouldn't think about it too much and go all in and everything else. Below the average, just don't submit your scores. Like I didn't submit for Stanford, and the schools I did submit like USC and Rice, I was below and I still got in.
