The government just admitted that millions of people are going to lose access to Medicaid. CMS just released additional details about the Medicaid work requirements that are coming, and they're estimating that 2.3 million people are going to lose coverage. And the thing I want you guys to realize here is not because these people are making too much money, and it's not even because these people necessarily aren't working. They're going to lose coverage more so through, like, paperwork and just, just procedures. This is going to start in 2027 when many of the adults who are on Medicaid, particularly the expansion, these people are going to have to prove that they're working or volunteering or in school or a caregiver. Additionally, states are expected to spend hundreds of millions of dollars just to, like, track compliance and ensure that people are meeting these requirements. And CMS is actually predicting that many of these people are going to be disenrolled just through, like, sheer administrative burden. And states have roughly six or seven months to get ready for this. Which also means that over the next few years, we're going to start seeing a lot of those impacts on hospitals and healthcare systems.
