Frugal and don't like to spend money but I'm forcing myself to take a vacation. So pack my bags with me and I will show you how I prepped for a trip on a budget. The first thing I do when getting ready for a vacation is I unplug my fridge. It doesn't make sense for me to keep it running if I'm not going to be home. Like you wouldn't keep a light on the entire time you're away. And I say the same thing about my fridge. Obviously the food would go bad if I just left it home. So I'm going to take all my food with me on the trip. And I'm sorry, I enjoy every now and then, but to eat for every single meal is so expensive and stupid. And yes, the plate is coming with me too. I don't need paper plates. I always bring my water filter and my water bottle with me because I know I'm going to be thirsty and I'm not buying drinks the entire trip. And I don't know if I'm tripping, but is that mold? What the hell is that? Is that algae? Listen, I'm too busy to inspect my water filter. Next, I always make sure I bring cash on any trip because sometimes cash could get you a better price on things. Because I refuse to pay more if I don't have to. Then I have to pack my toiletries. Yes, I use a lunch bag to hold things. It doesn't need to be Gucci. Triple check just to make sure I'm not forgetting anything. I forgot to pack a toothbrush once and I literally brushed my teeth with my finger and toothpaste. I'm also going to give myself a haircut because I want to look spiffy on my trip. My haircut cost me $25, which is literally like half a tank of gas. So instead of spending the money to get my hair cleaned up, I'm just going to use that for gas. I'm about ready to leave. But the last thing I'm going to do is unplug everything and also turn off the breaker. So the electric bill will not be going up while I'm gone. Okay, I'm packed up and ready to go. Let the frugal vacation begin! Love you guys!
