five things everyone buys But i don't refuse on year finance. Starting off with TVs. I don't own one and I don't own any streaming services. I feel like it's such a waste of money when you can get all your news articles online on social media. When it comes to movies, you might as well just go out to the theatre to actually watch a movie. Two, food apps. I'd rather make the food at home because it's way cheaper. I'll never understand that people that actually pay someone else to come deliver your food. You're pretty much shooting yourself in the foot by paying way more than what you could get store. It's next level laziness. Three, Alcohol. I don't buy alcohol at all. Back in the day, you could go to clubs or bars and buy shots for like a dollar. Now they're seven bucks and it's just diluted garbage. A cocktail can run you back seven bucks. I might as well just go to the store, buy the whole bottle and then have way more fun with my friends. Four, New phone. I don't upgrade my phone until it breaks. I'm recording this video with an iPhone 12 Pro Max and it's still very good quality. If you're buying a new iPhone every single year, you're pretty much paying a super premium that is super not proportional with the amount of quality you get extra from the new phone. And that premium is going to go away as soon as the new phone comes away. Five, Expensive coffee. $7 coffee every single morning is the easiest way to go broke. Stores charge you six to $7 when you can make it at home for 30 cents. That's like a 2000% markup. That same coffee can be replicated in less than 30 seconds.
