5 things I don't buy in my 20s that helped me build my 90k network by 24. Number one has to be expensive cars. A regular car, a reliable car gets me to the same place as an expensive car, but without that huge payment every single month. Number two is DoorDash or any of those services or just eating out all the time. Meal prep most of my food and invest that extra money. Number three is designer clothes. I'm not paying hundreds of dollars just for the logo. And honestly, I'm not the biggest fan of designer clothes. I'd rather put thousands of dollars into assets. Number four is expensive restaurants. This might be controversial, but most of the time the food isn't that much better. I'd rather save that money for experiences or investing. And the most important one, number five, is overconsumption. I believe that overconsumption is a huge problem with my generation. We want to have everything that's trending. It comes to clothes, shoes, glasses, running gear, gym clothes, all that. We want all of it. Focus mainly on buying things that you actually need. I can't say you can never buy these things. I just try to not buy those things as much. That way my portfolio and my network continues to grow.
