Claude ChatGPT Stop Wasting AI Tokens by Uploading PDFs ❌

Everybody's burning through their AI tokens right now without realizing it. And the biggest reason why is because you keep uploading PDFs. You do realize that one page could burn up to 3,000 tokens. So a 50 page PDF for example, can burn through your entire daily usage. The reason why is when you upload a PDF to an AI system, it has to convert that to an image, and then it uses OCR to read every single image, which costs a lot of tokens. So instead, you need to convert all of your PDFs into a Markdown file. And the easiest way to do that is through Google Drive. Let me show you how. So inside of Google Drive, you're first going to upload your PDF. Then you're going to click on the three dot menu and then open with Google Docs. Then inside of Google Docs, you're going to File, Download, and then save this file as a Markdown .md file. And now you can upload that Markdown file into your AI system and it's going to save you so many more credits and allow you to do so much more work with your AI system.
