June Mortgage Payoff Update!

June mortgage payoff update! My husband and I are trying to pay off our mortgage as quick as possible so each month I come on and give monthly updates for how much money we have put into it to show how quick we can get it paid down. To start this month we were at $456,971. Now, our normal payment which is about $3,670.10, and $794.20 of that went to principal. Um, and then right away and paid an extra $177.00 just to get it into the 455s. Um, and then we just made our second payment of $2,000 extra payment. So we put the $2,000 down, which means we put an extra $21.77 on the house this month. Um, and that got us to $453,999.46. So really hoping next month that we can get into the 440s. So that means we're gonna have to put about $4,000 on it. So hoping I can make some extra money here and there and hopefully next month I'll have that update for you next month. So yeah, there's the June monthly update.
