Here's everything you missed in pop culture this past week. Ariana Grande has become the latest victim of musical artists who have had their music used by the White House on a TikTok to promote actions by ICE agents. In a newly posted video that shows ICE agents arresting people, the White House account decided to use Ariana Grande's song as the sound and Ariana was obviously not happy about it. Ari took to the comments and clap back stating and I quote, "please do not ever use my music in relation to this barbaric, inhumane, heinous nonsense. Fck ICE." I would say how is the White House still being allowed to do this? But we all know why. Real Housewives of New Jersey star and her family are in legal trouble yet again, but this time it's one of her daughters. It was reported that Teresa's 20-year-old daughter Milania was arrested back on May 14th for domestic violence. She was charged with one count of simple assault with court records stating that the officers detained her and that she was scheduled to appear in court on May 19th, but no plea was entered. Milania recently posted her IG story addressing the arrest with an AI generated image that says, "None of us sit high enough to look down on anybody. Be humble." Interesting. Olivia Rodrigo is having a huge week as she just dropped her new album, "GUTS," which is receiving amazing reviews, has heartbroken people in tears, and it is projected to debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. Olivia also revealed that she received the biggest compliment from SZA at the 2024 Grammys with Olivia stating and I quote, "She studied my songs for the songwriting, and that was the biggest compliment I think she's one of the greatest living songwriters." Collab sometime soon? Before I continue, if you like these pop culture recaps, make sure to follow me to stay up to date. Selena Gomez has found herself in hot water with the internet after people thought she was throwing shade at Taylor Swift. Selena commented "lol" under a photo of Taylor at the next game and posted a story also stating, "Mad respect for the game. Congrats to the peeps that represent. What a comeback. So funny how some are all the sudden fans though lol." The internet dissected this and thought she was throwing jabs at Taylor, which led Selena in a new story to state, "I would never insult my friends, nor was it an insult. A reaction to on the page, I bet my friends in the game I posted was poking fun at my opponents." "Not I do in my life, I don't think it's this deep." Speaking of Taylor, Taylor Swift has become the youngest woman to ever be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame being inducted at the age of 36. Love Island USA season seven's Huda Mustafa has gone viral this past week after TMZ shared footage of her sneaking into the apartment complex of Louis Russell's ex-girlfriend. In the video, you can see a car pull into the garage. At first everyone thought that Huda was in the car, but no, she comes running and sneaks under the gate that is closing. And then there's this clip of her inside the parking garage on the phone walking into the apartment complex. What was the reason, girl? While performing at a recent show in New York City, Ray made a joke that she won't write her next album until she's in love. Ray stated, "I am refusing to write a single song called 'Fell in Love' until this moment finds me. And you know, I trust the timing of life. I am not writing a single album until that moment finds me. I'm just not going to write a third album about this guy sucks. This guy gave up on me. This ex is over there. I'm done with that era. Honestly, so real." And lastly, Elon Musk has unfortunately become the world's first trillionaire as SpaceX has gone public as a traded company. This is because shares of SpaceX opened at $150, which sets its valuation at $1.96 trillion. One person does not need that much money.
