CAMERA RECOMMENDATIONS $500

Here's some $500 camera recommendations. My biggest suggestion that I always give people that are on a budget is the Sony A6000. It's a very solid budget camera if you're trying to get into sports to shoot up to 11 frames per second, which is a great speed to have. It has reliable autofocus. All these cameras are going to be a little bit outdated, but nonetheless, I've seen pretty solid work with the Sony A6000. So this will always be my recommendation for this price range. Then for recommendation number two, if somebody who does more like portraits, events, things like that, too, and you're not really too worried about sports in particular, or you're somebody who shoots sports but doesn't really care about the speed, then you can get the Sony A7 II. This is a really big deal because you can get this for $500 for sure. And you get big things like IBIS and a full frame sensor, which means a lot when it comes to photography and videography. Is it everything? No, not in my opinion. I think the average person gets it a little too much weight, but it's very nice. You can shoot only at 6 frames per second, and you can shoot up to 10k 60. So video on it is okay. If somebody that's just shooting easy photography, this is definitely the camera body to pick up. Then for more of my wild card, we're going to go to the Canon side. If you're looking for a Canon camera in this price range, I could really recommend the Canon 5D Mark III. I've heard some good things about the 5D series. It's reliable, it's pretty cheap on the used market, so this definitely be one that I would give a good recommendation to. Also, I'm not a big fan that it isn't in the DSLR category. You're somebody like in the last camera that you're shooting like easier photography, then it's not a problem. If you're trying to get something snappier, I would definitely go with those cameras, like the mirrorless cameras, like the Sony choices because those are both mirrorless cameras, like definitely snapper. But nonetheless, all these cameras can get the job done if you are just starting out and these are some really solid recommendations. Let me know what video you wanna see next down in the comments.
