SONY IS TRYING TO BUY TAMRON

Sony is trying to buy Tamron. Sony pitches to buy Japanese lens maker Tamron. This opens up some very interesting conversations. Let's keep it one for now on Sony. So, does that mean that the prices of the Tamron lenses would then go up if Sony does acquire Tamron? Because if that's the case, Tamron is going to lose a lot of its appeal. I am a firm Tamron believer, follower. Whatever it is you want to call, I have used a lot of Tamron lens, I have used one, two, three Tamron lens right now and my main baby, my main baby is the 35 to 150. So, safe to say, I love Tamron. And I love Tamron because the price to performance in my opinion, which could be unpopular opinion, think with paying for Tamron lens, you're getting really good results. Now, of course, I know there's some horror stories out there of people's whole adapters or like coming off camera, but of course, those are in between actually be taken seriously in my opinion. My opinion, had a bad experience with a Tamron lens. I'm never going to have one. Because what comes a cheaper for a product like that. Now, of course, they can find a way to make the pricing stay the same, make the quality go up, then I'm it, but that is very unlikely. On the flip side is that Tamron makes lens for Canon. And there's not very many Canon 3rd party, Tamron, Sigma, the most part. So if Sony acquires Tamron, they don't lens anymore. That's the move by Sony. I guess to there's already many Tamron on mount.
