Back with more of my favorite quick and easy breakfast this week. We're making blueberry pie overnight oats. I made these last week too and I'm gonna tell you guys right now what they are really good. Y'all know the drill. We're starting off with our rolled oats. You can use any kind you want, but I personally think the Bob's Red Mill quick oats are the best. I don't know what Bob does to his oats, but I feel like nothing else compares. Doing a half a cup of our oats in each jar. Next to give it that super thick, creamy texture, we're gonna add a tablespoon of chia seeds. Obviously want some protein to start our day, so adding a full scoop of vanilla protein powder to each jar as well. I'm using the 1UP Nutrition vanilla ice cream flavor. Two tablespoons of greek yogurt. I like Siggi's. Two tablespoons of cashew butter. I also think almond butter would be really good in this. I'm adding about a tablespoon. And then a half a cup of your milk of choice. I'm using this Califia Farms organic unsweetened vanilla almond milk. Last ingredient is a teaspoon of maple syrup. And it wouldn't be blueberry pie without a sprinkle of cinnamon. Do not skip this step. And then it wouldn't be blueberry pie without blueberries. I will say the type of blueberry you use is very important. Number one, I think using frozen blueberries adds a lot more blueberry flavor than using fresh. Specifically, this brand of wild blueberries is just the best. I've been here since my hot oatmeal days where I topped all of my bowls with blueberries and granola butter. It was always these blueberries that I used. I'm adding between like two to three tablespoons of these blueberries to each jar. Adding a little pinch of sea salt to each one. And then we'll add our milk. And then we'll add our maple syrup. And now we mix it all together. Mixed up, they're a nice pretty bright purple now. These are gonna go in the fridge and then they'll be ready for breakfast in the morning.
