Boston is the BEST place to live and I'm tired of pretending it's not

This is going to be a hot take but I need you to hear me out. Boston might just be one of the best cities to live within the next 10 years. And yes, Boston has some issues from nightlife to a few problems with public transport, but let's compare it to the other US cities. And no, we will not be discussing New York because New York is considered a super city which is already competing on the world stage and Boston is simply just not doing that and it doesn't have to. The US has 11 cities that have a subway system and in Boston is consistently ranked in the top three. You can even get relatively close to the outskirts or even frequently travel up and down the East Coast on the Amtrak. The government is also working on a lot of initiatives for affordable housing, revitalizing the downtown, working with local artists and businesses so that we can have more of a thriving community. Boston is a city of many firsts. But not only that, it has one of the longest standing, research best research hubs of the entire world. In fact, in Cambridge, there's something called Innovation Mile, which is a stretch in Kendall Square that has all of these different research hubs, incubators, anything for life science on startups. Boston is actually number three in the cities that deploy venture capital dollar. And unlike SF and New York where there's already major players in the startup community, Boston is still being built right now. Which means that if you're here within the next 10 to 20 years, you actually get to be on the forefront and helping shape that community and what it looks like 50 years from now. And you know what they say about the startup and innovation community, right? Never bet where everybody's going, go where everybody's not. It's just getting started and that's why you gotta be in Boston.
