Last month I made $81,000 so this is how I'm using that paycheck. Gross revenue: $81,623. The net was $81,623. Business tax (hisa): $12,243. I do set aside 15% of that, so $12,243 and 43 cents. Sales tax: $4,259. I did collect some Canadian taxes for Canadian clients, so that's $4,259. Business expenses: $560. Which was one tiny trip to New York and some subscriptions. $560. Which leaves me $64,561. $64,561 left to spend. My personal expenses. Housing is $2,000. Which is half of the mortgage. Sustenance: $1,101. Groceries on Uber Eats. Transportation: $10. Because I don't go anywhere. Personal care: $223. Shopping: $340. Which was one kettle. $340. Medical: $101. Because I don't have insurance. $101. That brings my leftover money to $60,335. $60,335 that will be invested in my corporate account. That's it. And if you're new here, investments are aggressive, yes, because I've turned to speed run my way to retirement in my 30s. I'm already 31, going on 32 and if building wealth and optionality is your thing.
