I just got perhaps the craziest paycheck I've ever gotten in my life. So I want to break it down for you. If you haven't, I started in a job about three weeks ago. I just got paid for the first time. This paycheck tracking week. I didn't get paid for my first week, they had to figure out my direct deposit and all of our benefits before they could pay me. So now I have three weeks of paychecks I'm gonna share with you. So first off, my hours worked was 86 hours for two weeks and then 32 for the week before. So over those three weeks combined, my gross pay was $6,275.64. Of course, I opted for our deductions for health insurance, vision and dental. Taxes with health was $1,729.84. After all of that, my net pay is $4,478.30. And now my checking balance is overflowing, so I'm excited to put some of this money into investments.
