Is it worth starting an Etsy store?

just over two weeks ago I set up a brand new SC store after never having used SC before in my life and I'm going to give you an update. My name is Michael. I talk about a lot of different side hustle. So if you want to earn a little bit extra each month and make sure that you follow me. This might be quite a long video so I'm just going to say in short it is well worth it so far. My plan has been to create artwork using AI. I've been using chatGPT and then use a print partner to print on demand so that they can send them off my print partner is print spam and the idea is basically make as many as possible. I'll tell you how much I've made at at the end of the video, but first off the cost. So to set up a brand new shop, it cost me 14 pounds. And that's across the board, doesn't matter what shop you set up, it's going to cost you 14 pounds. Also, every single upload that you do is 20 cents. So so far I've spent the 14 pounds and probably about 14, um I think it works out. I have about 75 items on that with the minute. So overall probably about 25 inch to start with. Also uh pay for chat because I have the the pro account, so that is 20 pounds a month as well. And every sale that I make, I obviously have to pay for the printing. So, roll please, how many sales have I made in 17 days? I set this shop up 17 days. Well, I sold one yesterday and that's the total. Just the one. However, I'm really, really happy with that. That one poster, they paid uh 30 pounds including the delivery. After all the fees have come off, I got 23.98, I think it was. And then I have to pay print 899 to fulfill that order. my total profit from that one sale is I believe 14.99. So 15 pound profit on that I'm really happy with obviously have the expenses but this is the first month I kind of expected to make a loss. Next month I'm expected to make a little bit of profit. As I continuously add new designs. the shop's just going to grow. I'm hopefully by the end of the month I've over 100 and then I'm going to be looking to add about 200 a month. I do spend around two hours a day on this. I've probably upload anywhere between 5 and 15 Um, so it's just going to snowball.
