Hey, so my name is Michael. I talk about lots of different side hustles here on TikTok. So if you want to make a little bit extra each month, then make sure you follow me. So today's video and the next series of videos are all about KDP. That stands for Kindle Direct Publishing. And what that means is you get to create your own book from scratch for free and post it out there. When yes, a book, I can say a novel, an 800 epic, but it can also be a completely lined covers notebook. It covers the whole spectrum. What we're going to be learning about is the basics. So that's how to line your notebook. But if there is a basic notebook or whether it's a really intricate book, full process, the same. One years planner. Any around. You printed Amazon. Inside here I have very, same pages, same through. Because it's just a planner. So we're gonna have one book filled with line pages and we're gonna make that together. This is very much a beginner course, but I'm gonna teach you every step of the way. I'm not sure how many steps it's gonna be yet. I've sketched out about 15, but yeah, each video is gonna be five to 10 minutes long, but it's gonna teach you exactly from inception to creation. I've been doing this since 2021, and I have 280 books available on Amazon. I'd say about 80% of them have never sold a thing because I've made loads and loads of the books at the start just to get the feel of how to do it. And then I moved on to activity books, coloring books, one or two higher content books. It wasn't about two and a half years ago that I started to take it seriously, do a little bit more niche research and make books that people actually want to buy. Once you've got the basics down, which this course is going to show you, you can absolutely move on to other things. So I'm gonna tell you what I'm gonna cover in this course. First is telling you what KDP is. What this video is looking at niche research. So why make a dog notebook when there's 50,000 of them? So apps for to download for free and plugins. And we're gonna be moving on to create we're gonna use Canva, free. Do pro account. If you want to do more intricate details, but you can absolutely use the free account. Gonna show you the process. Important things like title, name, tags you need to add in there. Literally every step. Let me be very clear though, this process will not make you rich. I've been doing this since 2021, and I've made £18,000 over those years. So it's definitely not a full-time income, but if you have the desire, you can absolutely make this a full-time income. It just takes a lot of research, a lot of dedication, perseverance.
