What's my first month on Etsy been like? Have I made any sales? Have I made any profit? This is coming from someone who, month on month, has never touched Etsy in their life. Hey, my name's Michael. I talk about loads of different side hustles and Etsy is one of them. So, if you want to learn about Etsy and all the side hustles, follow me. So, this is the one month update. My Etsy shop consisted of, um, 145, um, posters. I created those using AI and about an hour or two a day. I'd upload five or ten a day. Yeah, month, end of the month, 145 have prints. Have I made any sales this month? Though, disclaimer though, I set the shop up on the 25th of May. I didn't actually upload the first design until the third of June. So, it's now the 30th of June, so not quite a month, but let's just say it's a month anyway. The first month I did actually make three sales, which I'm really happy about. That came to a total, uh, £95.72. Obviously, Etsy has fees and, um, because it was a new shop, I had to pay the £14 pound new shop fee. And obviously, anyone who opens an Etsy shop has to pay that £14 pound fee, and that obviously comes in this month's invoice. Every time you upload something, it costs cents, plus fat, so in UK money that costs me about 18 pence. The listing fees cost me £22.20. So, like I said, every time I uploaded them, that came to 22.20. And then transaction fees, £6.19. Processing fees, £4.69. Um, regulatory operation fee, it's not, um, P.T. is £9.49. And the shop fee is £14 pound. So the total fees for me this month is £42.98 pence. That leaves me a complete overall profit of £52.29 pence. As the first time Etsy user, I'm over the moon about that because I've heard that most, um, on, not starts, so to have a profit off the first month is fantastic. What's my plan in July? More of the same. I'm going to be trying to upload five to ten designs a day. Pulls the back in the month, my kids finish school, so it's going to die down quite a lot. But yeah, I'm hoping to get about 250 to 300 signs up there by the end of July. More sales. I'm about to do a video series about how I do my KDP books. But once that series is done, I reckon I'll do a series on exactly how I do this. So if you're interested in the, um, how I make the posters, how I do the research, um, how I price them, um, make or whatever, DM me or follow. I'll reply to as many as I can. Yeah, £20.32. I'm really pleased about that.
