Etsy
Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
Two months ago I set up my very first Etsy shop. I'm gonna go through the incomings and outgoings of what happened in month two. I'm gonna tell you everything about everything. My name is Michael. I talk about lots of different side hustles, what are those being Etsy. So if you want to find out about different side hustles then please do follow me. So month one I do have to say, um, I got a profit of £20 and something pence. That's what I said in my last video. However, after that video on the same day, about an hour after, I got another sale. So a total profit was £34.50. So, even more so, I'm really happy about that. And before I do go into this month, that I must say that I am not an affiliate of Etsy or Printful, my print partner. I'm literally just a guy who wanted to try something and share it with you. So, who's asking, I'm not trying what's possible. So, let's get into the numbers for month two. I'm gonna start by saying I'm amazed. I didn't expect it to be this good. Um, first, I have 304 prints go on Etsy. I've been adding a couple everyday. Some have been adding 10, 15 a day, some I don't. But yeah, I ended the month with 304 prints sold. 51 of those are framed. That's extra profit. That's what Printful offer. It, they print it, they ship it, they provide order and they also provide the frame if they order it. And the question, they ship worldwide. The big question is, what revenue? Let me say that revenue, so that doesn't include any fees, it doesn't include any refunds, and it doesn't include the delivery and the prints that printing that I have to pay Printful. But your made. Party, that's capped. Made thousand seven hundred and seventy-one pounds and 26 pence. Like revenue. So the fees, the fees are made up of different previous video. I've gone through them in the previous video. And a lot of people have issue with fees. That's what it is to the cost of business. It's fine. So the Etsy printing what Etsy took was £292 and 3 pence. So the total marketing for offsite ads came to £18.90 in that month. I do have two refunds, two different things. One was really positive. Someone ordered a print and realised it was too small, so they refunded them. Ordered one, and I gave them a refund. Anyway, because customer service is always no. Happy. The second fact refund. I'm flabbergasted by that. And what I did was watch people on TikTok and YouTube do it. So, um, wanna my process, please do leave a comment and I'll do my best to answer anything. What I'll probably do is Q&A over the next couple of days because I know a lot of comments from the previous video. I'll just cover them in there. But yeah, follow along and I'll try and help you guys make £761.98 plus two comments. So, like, what are the comments I had in the first video was like, oh my god, you've only earned £20, what a waste of time. On month two, I earned £761.98. Three, hold? Um, stop anyway. Yeah, thanks.
