The heatwave is coming and I cannot wait, so I'm back with part two of places worth the detour where I show you places in and around Bath that are actually worth going slightly out of your way. This one is Higher Farm. It's a gorgeous regenerative farm. It was a hot day when we went. We primarily went for their wild swimming. They have a lake that you can pay, I think it's like 4 pounds for, and swim in there. There were so many people there and then you can just put your towels down like on the grass around the lake. It was very lovely, chill vibe. They have food, we had drinks, and honestly, like right up my street to just hang out on a farm on a sunny day. We took Rummikub, which if you don't know what that is, I need you to buy it immediately. You will thank me later. I have put so many people onto this game, you would think I had shares in Rummikub. But yes, 100% recommend getting in your car and driving to Higher Farm when the heatwave strikes. It is a lovely day to spend the afternoon in the countryside. So make sure you save this for the next heatwave and follow along for more countryside days that I think are worth the detour.
