No welcome bonus, which is unheard of for a credit card. And absolutely zero travel perks. Amazon Prime Visa, C tier. This one makes sense if you basically live off of Amazon. Don't go shopping in person. Amazon has everything that you can think of. So that 5% cashback sounds pretty good. But you also have to remember, you're paying for a prime subscription every single month. If your Porsche sees more boxes than people, then sure. MX platinum, S tier. For status, D tier for your bank account. The platinum runs in $895 annual fee. The benefits read like a tax form. Most of the value is credits that you have to remember to use or essentially you just lit $895 on fire. For someone building wall from the ground up, this is a hard path. Discover it, A tier. Discover it is the easiest yes for your first car. If your a beginner, period. No annual fee, super easy to get approved. And all that cash back that you get over the first year, they match it. This is the first credit card that I got when I turned 18 years old. MX Gold, 8 Tier. The gold is the platinum that actually makes sense. $325 annual fee, 4X on groceries and restaurants. There's a great welcome bonus and if you eat and cook like a normal human, this card quietly prints points. Taste sapphire preferred S tier. The 95 annual fee. Get you an incredible welcome bonus. Real rewards on dining and travel. Point say you can actually transfer to airlines and hotels to pull way more value out of it. This is stuff nobody's teaching you, fall for more.
