How to succeed in real estate 2026 How to be a successful real estate agent 2026. I got you. Don't fake yourself. I got you. Don't fake yourself. That is the number one advice I can give you. When I first started, I was trying to act like I was a 10 year vet. I was trying to act like I had all these closings, I had all these commission checks. I was driving around in a nice fancy car, just trying to fake it until you make it. Do not do that. That is the worst advice my broker ever gave me. Because I will go to these listing presentations, and I will go on these buyer's appointments, and people seen straight through my B.S. They seen straight through it. And now guess what? My name got tossed around the market and around all these people, and now I'm just known as this wanna be big shot realtor as a new rules agent. All you have starting out is your name, your reputation, who you are, what you're around, what you do. Once you ruin that, that can be a quick career ender. Once I finally just say, you know what? I don't care what people think about me. I don't care about faking it. I just wanna be who I am. Because I know if I be who I truly am, that's the only way I'm gonna last in this business. Because I just don't have the heart to just fake things. I, I just can't live with that. I can't sleep at night. It. It destroys me. So I started posting social media content about moving to Georgia. It destroys me. So I started posting social media content about moving to Georgia. I would help people move to Georgia, make their move as smooth as possible, help them accomplish their dreams. Because there's people all around the world who wanna move to Georgia, and they wanna work with somebody like me. And once I got that mindset, I started posting that content. I kid you not, within the first week out, my phone was blown up. Text, emails, DMS, people from all over the world reaching out to me, wanting to work with me, saying, hey, I saw your YouTube video, I saw your TikTok and Instagram. I loved it. I love who you are. Me and my family interested in moving here. Can you help us? That was all the confirmation that I needed internally to let me know, like, Yoh, there's no point in trying to act like that realtor or that realtor. I can be myself and still get people who genuinely wanna work with me. And that's the best part about Social Media, Man. When you're posting this content, being your genuine self, by time these people reach out, they've already watched, like, five or 10 of your videos. So they're already pre nurtured. They already know they wanna work with you, and then they're seeing the real you. So they already know what they're getting before they even get on that call or come to that listing presentation. There's no selling, there's no objection handling. It's just pretty much explain them the process of how you gonna get them from point A to point B. And it's beautiful. I love it. I would never change social media for any other generation source out there. So if you're a new realtor and you need to hear this, let this be a reminder to you, or even for experienced Realtors in the field. Always remain yourself, no matter what.
