Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
I made a recent video on exactly what I made as a real estate agent here in Arizona. And I wanted to talk about the exact routes that I took to get where I'm at. Two and a half years in the industry. My first year was literally dog water. Not a livable income at all. What I've done since then is I do open houses every single week. In the beginning, I did open houses without any excuses, two to three times a week. And I would make sure you get every contact that comes in the door. I was constantly posting on Facebook. I was always reaching out to people. I made sure everybody in my sphere who lived in Arizona knew that I was in real estate. I talk to people everywhere I go, whether it's a restaurant, the gym, a coffee shop. The biggest thing for me that I've noticed is have interest in what other people do first, and then build trust with them through that, and then bring up the fact that you're a realtor. Another huge thing that's been social media. Just always trying to post content and remind people, hey, I'm a realtor. I'm also a native in Arizona, so there's a bit of an upper hand of like most of my sphere and following already. People buy a house twice in their lifetime. That's it. You need to make sure that you are the person they think of when they come to that big purchase. If you are not relying on time, quick with your responses, or the person they first think about, what are you doing wrong that they're not thinking about? And how can you get in front of more people? If you're actively in the gym, get to know everybody in your gym. If you always go to one coffee shop to work, get to know the workers. The people who are going there all the time. And let them know you're in real estate because if you build a relationship with a server, a barista, a chef, anywhere, you will get referrals eventually. Just keep showing up and being consistent. You need to make sure that you are the person they think of when they come to that big purchase, or that you are referred to. Because you treated your past clients so well. And that is what I'm so particular about is when a client responds, you answer them immediately. And if you don't know the answer, you find the answer. And if there's a problem, you make sure that you find a solution to the problem. That is what a good agent does. And that is why I've had six referrals in the past 10 days. That's what you do. And eventually, your business will become referral only. Social media only. And you're not going to have to hustle to do an open house every single weekend. Like if you're not five minutes early, you're late. Remember the minute details. If you remember one of your client's child's name or birthdays, it shows you're reliable. Whether that's in your CRM or not, remember everything people tell you because that shows you can trust this person. I'm also not afraid to ask for business at all. If I ever hear somebody mention somebody needs to move to Arizona, sell, buy, I will actually say to them, let me be your realtor, I would love to help out. If they say no, okay, at least you tried. Remember that your minute details. If you remember one of your client's child's name or birthdays, it shows you're reliable.
