00:01 moments before my graduation, I burst into tears because my family were running late and I was just really overwhelmed. Congratulations to everyone graduating this summer. This is everything you need to know if you want to survive graduation day. Firstly, please, please, please read every email. It will tell you instructions where to collect your gowns, how many people you're allowed and so forth. So make sure you do it more than a week before graduation. In places like the UK, you're not responsible for going out and buying your own gown and cap. They'll give it to you on the day. But I don't know if they'll be perhaps a fee to rent it. As a result, a lot of people will rent their own cap and gown so that they can do photoshoots in a studio for example. And know that some companies will be giving offers to uni students. If it is quite expensive, you can always just, you know, find a nice place, get a photographer friend and take some photos there. Also, partner up with a graduation buddy for the day. So what are the reasons why I was crying was because when my family called me and said that they'll maybe late, they made it on time, thank God. I was by myself. At this point, I did get ready with friends. I went to the graduation but once everyone else's families were there, they kind of just dispersed. So I wish I had maybe organized planning with someone else graduating that day. My auntie who lives nearby, she actually came. She rushed down so I wasn't alone. So another thing is not necessarily a tip, but I would not risk the people you're inviting or all coming in the same car. Make them drive separately or something. It's going to be so, so hot, especially with all the layers. So make sure you bring a fan and whatever outfit you have underneath. I would honestly pick something that's as thin as possible. Obviously not something that's uncomfortable or revealing, but you know, I wouldn't even do the whole suit situation. I advised my brother to wear a Shaw key to his upcoming graduation. Also, things like your cap is up here, make sure your hairstyles are down here. Before you pick up your cap and gown on the day, you'll probably get sent an email asking you to measure yourself and send your measurements. So make sure to do that. But even still, your cap may not fit properly. So you can bring things like bobby pins. Also as well, podium walks. If you have that confidence, like I wish I did something quite quirky while I was collecting my certificate or whatever. After you take the class photos, then you can get opportunities to professionally take pictures with your friends and family. So I'll be looking at like 50 pounds plus. I think I got one family picture and then two, um, small ones. I think that you can also order it online afterwards. Again, for content creation people, my mom was taking pictures and videos whilst the photographer was taking pictures of me and it was really nice to look back at like, there's one picture I love, he's looking over me, like, you know, the photographer is praying over me. Also as well, you can email them, they'll ask how to pronounce your name, so you can phonetically spell it out to them to prepare them beforehand. Finally, because I've said quite a lot of things, just celebrate, make sure you celebrate. Even if you don't really care about yourself, like just have a moment to be happy with your friends and family. Like they'll be extra nice to you on that day as well. You know, you don't want to look back after a few years and regret not doing that. So any opportunity to highlight an achievement you've done, always take it. Again, congratulations.
