A few years ago I made a video about how I only use an iPad to complete my law degree. The new MacBook Neo has been described as the laptop version of an iPad. But if you haven't an iPad with the right features and accessories you may not need a MacBook just yet. I bought this as that iPad Pro 11" in 2020 and this is how I've been able to make it go a very long way. For example, there's an iPad feature where you can create a split view. This allows you to have two tabs or windows open at the same time. So for example, on one side you can have a research paper up and on the other side you can have Microsoft Word up so that you can write alongside your reading. You can also play around with the sizing to make each view as big or small as you want. I currently use a rotating touchpad keyboard case which functions just like a laptop but I can also rotate it if I just want to use the screen. The best iPad keyboard setups are the ones that also double as a protective case. The one I used before had a Bluetooth keyboard so I could just remove it whenever I didn't want to use it.
