We let this vending machine get way too empty. I ended up pulling over $200 of cash out of it. This is the part of the machine that gives you your change back, and as you can see, it is empty. All the change we put in there on Friday was pretty much gone over the weekend. Thankfully, people used to give a good amount of change to purchase products, so I ended up just dumping that out and putting it back into the change dispenser. This is definitely not the ideal way to do it just for accounting purposes, but it's better than customers not getting their change back. Normally, we order rolls of coin from the bank to restock these. These potato skins were one of the only things left in the vending machine, so obviously they're not a hit here, which means I'm going to take them out. Literally no point in wasting a row in a product that isn't selling. All the candy bars in this machine were stocked all the way to the back on Friday, and they're all gone on Monday. We didn't even have enough stuff in our inventory to restock this thing back. I'm going to have to go to Costco and come back and restock the machine before the end of the week. This is our only location where we give a percentage of our profits to the building in order to keep our machines here. This was a highly sought-after location that can sell out in a day or two, so it made sense to split some of the profits. Normally, we charge $2.25 for the candy bars, but here we charge two. We're going to make up for that vending our machines. Normally, we charge $2.25 for the candy bars, but here we charge two.
