Welcome day five of lowering my cost of living. I'm doing one thing every single days to lower my cost of living. Big one today. Also ignore this. This is literally drips of water. I washed my hair. For a YMCA family membership for quite some time now because kids love to swim so we're able to use it in the winter and then I use it to work out. But at this point I can't justify the cost anymore. It's been slowly increasing over time. But now we're all the way up to $83 a month. And I know the YMCA does so many good things for families and stuff. But I just don't have the income anymore to have this kind of bill coming out of my account monthly. So what I did for now is I called and I put it on a three month hold. So this won't come out of my account for the next three months. I do need to decide if I'm going to permanently cancel it. It's tough because there's not a lot to do with kids in the winter and if your kids like to swim, there's not a lot of options for pools. But that is a large expense. So when we add it to the previous day's total of $23.22, that's $106.22. We are saving $6 and 22 cents a month by putting my YMCA membership on hold for the summer. I'll be back again tomorrow with something else.
