Did you know the most bougie thing you can do with your money are actually the smartest financial decisions you'll ever make? Let me show you how. This is Michelle, some people call me Money Momma. I'm a CFP, Financial Planner, and I've been working on Wall Street helping people build wealth for you years. You know, we've been taught that cutting spending means cutting joy, eating salads, canceling, canceling everything fun, living like you're broke to stop being broke. But that's not it. Here's what actually works and it feels like a glow up. Number one, grocery delivery. Yes, it costs a delivery fee, but here's what it actually does. It eliminates every impulse buy you make walking through the aisles, the throw, the pillow, the snack you didn't need. The average woman spends $40, $40 extra every single time a grocery run is done, just from being in the store. The delivery, the delivery fee is $10. Do the math. Sometimes, sometimes the delivery fee could be even free for you depending on the program you have. Cut number two, a capsule wardrobe. Buy less, buy better. Instead of $30 here, $25 there, fast fashion that falls apart. You invest in a fewer pieces that are higher quality and go with everything. You spend less overall and you look more put together. You stop, you stop stress shopping because you actually love what's in your closet. And cut number three, meal prepping. Make it a whole moment, not sad Tupperware. I mean, a Sunday reset, a reset, a clean kitchen, a food that actually excites women. Women who do this cut their food spend almost half, and not because they're depriving themselves, because they've stopped paying restaurant prices for food that they didn't even plan. And cut number four, unsubscribe from retail emails. This one is silent, but deadly. Every sale email is a manufactured emergency designed to make you spend money where you weren't planning. If you need something, you'll go find it, but you can't impulse buy on an email you never received. So none of this feels like a budget. It feels like a woman who has her life together because she does. The soft life isn't about spending more, it's about spending so intentionally that every dollar feels like a choice, not one that was made for you. So spend less, feel more. That's the glow up.
