Stop saying “I’m broke” So I worked at Meta and Sony alongside people who are casually pulling in $400,000 in their early 30s and I'm also on track to make that much this year. So here are the three things they do differently that changed my brain chemistry. So first they don't trade time for money past a certain point. Because think about it, why would you do laundry for an hour when you can literally hire somebody to do it for you for $20 while you make $200? So they're not working, they're just working in ways that the output just keeps earning. Their salary like a floor, not a ceiling. So salary people optimize for the job, but rich people use the job to fund the next thing. Lastly, and this one's gonna sting, they don't romanticize being broke or being thrifty. Because having frugality as a personality, that's literally a broke person personality. And when you think you're broke, you're gonna be broke. So if you've been told that wealth is about skipping coffees and tracking your lattes, please look around who's actually getting rich? Because they are not your role models. Because the people who quietly built generational money did it by understanding leverage, not by being disciplined.
