Stop being such a hater. I just found these pictures of myself when I was 14 and stay with me now because there's a lesson here. These pictures are cute, right? I look super pretty, my outfit is gorgeous, my body looks good, but I don't remember a single thing of that. All I remember from the day my friend took these beautiful pictures of me is how self-conscious I felt. How I sucked in my stomach, how I thought my hair looked super frizzy and how I just felt super ugly. And it makes me so sad to think of all the boys and girls that are going through this right now that are not enjoying the moments in their youth because they're constantly so focused on every single little imperfection and every little flaw that they have. And bad news, nobody's perfect. So if you focus on the flaws, there's always going to be flaws to find especially with today's beauty standards, you can never be enough if you really focus on it. But that can't be your life. Like now years later, I look back at these photos and I wish I would have enjoyed more how my friend me up. How my friend was telling me I was beautiful. What a nice sunny day it was that we were getting ice cream after this that we were going out to eat. That I spent time with her before now she moved away to a different country. All of these things matters so much more than how frizzy my hair was. My weight at that moment, how my stomach looked, how my face looked, it doesn't matter. If everything you always see is all the imperfections of your face, body, hair, weight, skin, you're never going to be happy and you're going to look back at your life feeling like you never enjoyed any of those moments because all you could see is every little imperfection that you have. And I don't think we want to live that life. I don't think we want to have that moment where we look back at our life and we realize that we didn't enjoy anything. This is just some food for thought. I love you so much and I'll see you tomorrow. Bye.
