You are constantly programming your brain and most of it is wrong. Welcome back to anti-brainrot the series where I break down psychological and philosophical facts so that you can be hard and educated instead of having your brain fried. Every time you say something that starts with I am like I am anxious for example your brain fails that as a permanent link to your identity. It deepens that neural pathway and with things like I am anxious I don't think you want to do that. So there's something very very simple you can do about that. Because the moment you switch from I am anxious to I feel anxious right now, everything changes. It's the same emotion but a completely different instruction. Now anxiety is something you're experiencing rather than something that is part of you. And it gets even smaller than that. I love this trick. Instead of saying I'm not good at this and your brain kind of just shutting the door being like, all right I'm not good at this. You can just add one little word. I am not good at this yet. This makes your brain go like, "Oh, there's still an opportunity. I can do this. Instead of, whoa, I'm just not made for this. It's one little word, but it makes a world of a difference. We already know that repetition feeds truth in our brain. So, every I am statement literally programs you. Words are extremely powerful. So choose them wisely. This week, if you catch yourself saying I am about something negative, switch it to I feel. Or just add the little word, yet. I'm not good at this yet. Because the story and the words that you tell yourself over and over and over are eventually going to become your life. I'll see you in the next episode and I love you so much. Bye.
