Since the temperatures are soaring, we decided it was finally time to introduce Zuri to the water. We love paddleboarding and want to take her everywhere with us, so getting her comfortable on the board was the ultimate goal. It wasn't love at first sight, though! 😅 She was pretty skeptical about the water initially, and it took some patience (and our ultimate high-value treats!) just to get her belly-deep. But once that confidence clicked, she was right there following us in. Next up: the board! Back on land, we strapped on her safety vest and did a quick trial run. To our surprise, she was a total natural—stepping, sitting, and lying down on the board without a care in the world. Once we got her out on the water, she was completely chill, eventually just lying down and enjoying her snacks. We even let her practice her doggy paddle to Dad and back to the board! 🐾 She still needs a bit of practice, but by her second session, her confidence had already skyrocketed.
