What is a REIT?

So the point here is that reets buy property and then go up and down based on the property. Now, understanding that, they trade on an exchange unless they say a list. So they're very liquid. Remember that, they are liquid, okay? You can buy and sell them. So if is to sell in their real estate and want to stay in real estate but be liquid, they can sell the property by the. It's either an equity where you make money off the rents and the the property or it's a mortgage where you make money off the mortgage interest of the mortgage.
