The advice I'm gonna give you is something that people will usually charge a couple grand for to teach you properly. But I'm gonna break it down for you here because it's generally gonna change the way that you build or even think about building automations forever. Now, before we get even get into the building part, you obviously need to understand that you need to do real market research first. Understanding the niche, the pain points, the businesses, the customers, and then finding the right solution. And today, honestly, this part has never been easier. You've got tools like Claude and Perplexity that can honestly do most of the heavy lifting for you. Going out and finding businesses, um, surfacing the patterns or problems you're facing, and just giving you a solid starting point. But once you've found the solution and you know what you want to build, this is where a lot of people are either confused on, they get stuck and they give up because what everyone naturally does when they start building is they begin from the start and work towards the finish. Now, again, it's not entirely wrong, and they think, okay, I need a system that handles every lead, qualifies them, then routes them, then books them, then notifies the team, and they start building from the first step. And in most cases, this is halfway through, they realize something's missing or something's not connected properly, and then they go back and change it, then change something else, then realize the next part doesn't connect properly. This whole sort of things turns into a mess and end up wasting hours, rebuilding the same workflow three or four times. And I'm speaking from genuine experience. Now, the advice or the way I've learned this that generally changed how I build and how my team builds is always backwards. With the goal, whatever the end result is meant to be, that's where you begin. So let's say the goal is to qualify sitting for a sales team to pick up and start dialing. Now work backwards from there. Before the lead has to be filtered out, before that, the lead needs to be asked the right qualification questions. And then even before that, the survey automatically sent. Again, before that, the lead has to enter their email and phone on and so on. All the way back to the very first action. By the time you've worked back to the starting point, you've already mapped out every single step in the right order, every condition, every branch, and every dependency. Right? So when you actually open any tool and make or whatever tool you're using to build these automations, you're not guessing anymore, you're just building what you've already designed. The other thing that has really helped massively is drawing the whole flow out visually, right? Before you build a single thing. It doesn't matter if it's on paper or Miro or whatever tool again that you're using, anything. Just get the diagram onto onto a screen. Once you do that, building gets even faster, cleaner, and you stop hitting errors halfway through. If you start with the goal and work backwards, and draw the flow out first, your build gets sharper, time, so the delivery time drops massively. So this is a piece of advice that has really helped me in improving my efficiency and I'll see you guys in the next one. Peace.
