Whoever came up with these features are OP, honestly deserve a raise. I mean, they've completely changed the game for protecting your money. Have you ever been in a situation where someone was forcing you to make a transfer against your will? OPay has this new safety pin feature that literally saves you. In that moment while you're being forced, all you have to do is enter your safety pin. As someone who uses OPay, I've already set mine up because I just want peace of mind. Here's how you can set yours up right now. In your OPay app, tap on Me at the bottom of your screen, then select Security Center. From there, tap on Safety PIN, then tap Enable Safety PIN. All you have to do is set your pin, confirm it, and that's it, you've activated it. And don't forget, if you feel like danger is coming or you find yourself in an unsafe place and want to quickly protect your funds, you can still use OPay's emergency lock. Just open your OPay app, look for the floating shield icon, tap on it, then select Emergency Lock. From there, tap on Lock Account, choose the preferred unlock method, hit next, and tap Lock Now. Just like that, your entire account is completely locked down for a set period and nobody can move your money. Emergency lock is for when you sense danger coming and you want to protect yourself first. Safety pin is for when you're already in the situation and can't make a move. Either way, your money is safe.
