I am coming up on three years of living alone and these are five things that I think are very practical that every woman should have in their home or in their apartment if they are living alone. Starting with an Amazon Basics Household Tool Kit. It's going to get you through all of the little small house projects. This is the perfect starting toolkit if you are in an apartment especially. I got it in pink. You can get it in whatever color you want. I think pink's cute. A fold-up step stool. It is really skinny and easy to store, but I also keep these all around my apartment so that I can reach my top shelves or in my closet or whatever it might be. These are so handy and useful. You can get them pretty much anywhere, but I will link one on Amazon for you guys. Next, practical safety things. I have a fire blanket that I keep in my kitchen. My mom actually sent this to me, but just in case something happens and you're home alone and you don't want to get out a fire extinguisher, fire blanket. You can just throw it over a fire. People make fun of me for this one, but I keep this on all of my doors that have access to either the hallway or the outside. So if you know, you know. And then one other thing that I will say that I am absolutely obsessed with is a candle warmer so that you can keep your candles on and not have to worry about an open flame because we actually don't want a fire, believe it or not, but we still want the house to smell good. They look like this and then you can just turn them on. And it will smell nice then. Those are my top five, but if you want more, let me know.
