No one has once told me to take my contacts out when I enter a body of water. I need someone who's not a hypochondriac to tell me if this is true or not. Are people actually going blind from showering with their contacts in? Because I've had contacts now for close to 20 years, and I have never once taken them out while I was swimming, while I was showering, while I was in a body of water, while washing my face. Never. Don't take them out. I don't sleep with them in. But I did not. I was not aware that you were not supposed to wear them in water. This has never once been mentioned to me. And all of a sudden, I have three people on my for you page going blind from showering with their contacts in. This is a legitimate concern. Be so for real with me, please.
