Like, Gaza is incredibly important, but it's also what Gaza did to the Democratic Party. By that, I mean it broke their myth. Now, when I use the word myth, I mean myth building. Not necessary that these things do not exist. Just bear with me. But how the fuck do you send, um, money and support for an active genocide while being the party of DEI? Since 2020. Even before that, a little bit like 2016, we were getting this idea that the Democratic Party was building its myth by essentially, uh, elite capturing intersectionality and D E I. As a direct response to the Trump administration. They said, this is our story. This is our narrative. This is who we are. Much in the same way that Republican Party uses the Bible, right? It's a key piece for identity building, which is attaching yourself to an already existing structure of identity, but not just identity understanding. Every single day from October 7th onwards, that ticked by and grew closer and closer to the election, where the Democratic Party was still sending ordinances and money to that country, the further and further and further they broke their own myth. You cannot preach the principles of diversity, equity, inclusion, and then support the mass killing of people by race, by ethnicity, by really, like, what are we even talking about here? That is what I mean by when I say stories and narratives win or lose elections. You cannot, under any circumstance, break your own story. You cannot break your own myth.
