I just got home from the 2026 Travel Goods Show where some of the top luggage brands in the world show off their latest and greatest travel bags and luggage innovations. So here are some of the coolest product releases I saw while I was there, at least the ones I'll have to tell you about. Also make sure you stay till the end because something really, really crazy happened that I still can't wrap my head around but I'm super excited about. So first up is this PROPS carry-on suitcase which has a built-in stand on the bottom of the bag. So if you're staying in a small hotel room that doesn't have a luggage rack, you can just unfold the legs, prop up your bag and now you have a built-in luggage stand for your suitcase. This would be great for anyone who has trouble leaning down to pack up their suitcase. You can also use it to turn your suitcase into a table on the go if you need it for work or if you have kids who need a quick table surface. This one is a really cool woman founded brand. Next up is a travel product that literally blew my mind. This is the InstaSteam electricity-free steamer pouches. If you're a frequent traveler, you know that packing a steamer is not always possible. You're not even allowed to bring them on certain trips like cruises. These steamer pouches will fix all that. Here's a before shot of this wrinkled shirt. All you do is open up these pouches, you fill them with water and you put them in the bottom of their specialty garment bags which have a little slot for them to sit in. And within a few seconds, you'll see the steamer start to activate and it fills up the garment bag with steam. It creates a steam bag that steams out all of the wrinkles in your clothing. It's absolutely wild. It has no chemicals, so you don't have to worry about touching it or reaching your hand in. Each pouch lasts for about 20 minutes, so you can swap multiple garments inside the bag and steam all of your clothes. It was truly one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I'm definitely bringing this on my next cruise. Next up is one of my favorite backpacks I saw at the show. This is the Peak Design 2-in-1 travel backpack which starts as one large carry-on backpack but then separates to also include a personal item day pack that you can use on your trip. You can also use the base of the backpack to pack all of your clothing in its wide open design. This is so smart for people who prefer a backpack style carry-on but want something maybe a little smaller or lighter to use day to day on your trip. Now you can have the best of both worlds with this 2-in-1 without sacrificing all of the great features when you switch to the smaller size because it has a built-in laptop sleeve, a trolley sleeve, two water bottle pockets and then the larger size has all those goodies too. Next up is my last favorite, this suitcase set from the brand Tach. Each piece of luggage has an elastic cord on the top and the side that easily connect to one another to attach them like train cars so that instead of having to juggle multiple suitcases with only two hands, you've freed up to just use one hand to pull them all behind you seamlessly. It's so smart for people who prefer a backpack style carry-on but want something maybe a little smaller or lighter to use day to day on your trip. Now you can have the best of both worlds with this 2-in-1 without sacrificing all of the great features when you switch to the smaller size because it has a built-in laptop sleeve, a trolley sleeve, two water bottle pockets and then the larger size has all those goodies too. So that's it for my favorite travel products from the 2026 Travel Goods Show. Let me know which product was your favorite or which one you would like to see reviewed. And now onto the big news! I won Creator of the Year at the Travel Goods Awards at the end of the show. That is crazy to me. I was absolutely shocked to find this out. In fact, this was so much of a surprise that I wasn't even there. I had another trip that was about to start. So sadly, in order to make everything work, I had to miss the award show which was at the very end of the travel goods show. So when I landed, I got a bunch of texts with this picture pretty much from all my travel friends who were still at the show telling me about the news. So crazy to me. I wish I would have been there. Of course, if I would have known, I would have changed my flight. But this just means so, so much to me. Especially as an award recognizing the content that I create from the travel gear industry. I have such a special spot in my heart for travel gear and talking about product design and innovation. It is just the highest honor to me. I'm so, so giddy and overwhelmed by it. I cannot thank you guys enough for everything you do for me and all of the support that you give me on my content. It means the world. I love you guys so much and I'll see you in the next one.
