AC in europe? I find it extremely funny that Europeans are so much against air conditioning, but they don't mind heating their apartments all winter when it's freezing. For context, I'm a German living in New York and I have air conditioning on. It's 38 degrees Celsius outside, so obviously I need air conditioning in my apartment. And whenever I go home to Germany in December, I fly to Munich usually. I arrive at the airport thinking, oh my god, it's so hot at this airport. While it has like, I don't know, negative 5 degrees Celsius outside. And they really, really heat up that airport, high ceilings, hot, I think 22 degrees Celsius, which is insane to me. So the fact that a lot of Germans are so against air conditioning when it's brutally hot is just nonsense to me. If you don't believe me, go ask AI. Ask about the average German household heating per year and then how many weeks of air conditioning you would actually need and compare the energy cost.
