I got broken up with at 17 and it turned out to be the best thing that's ever happened to me. Welcome to lesson #2 of 21 by 21. It's 17, I met a girl in college, we started dating and I was completely obsessed with her. But after about a year, she ended it. Let's just say I didn't handle it very well. I cried every day for like two weeks. I was lying in bed for hours, not training, not doing anything, just feeling sorry for myself. And then I came across a video from Alex Sedlak and he said take responsibility for everything that happens in your life, good or bad, because it will only make you better. And that really hit me differently. Because for the first time, instead of blaming her, I actually looked at myself. I was insecure in my looks, my confidence, who I was as a person. So I started hitting the gym, I started running, I started consuming content that actually made me a better person. I also had no direction, no purpose in life. I wasn't going to uni, I was working in a close shop making 300 pounds a month. I literally had nothing in my life that I was building towards. So I took something I actually cared about in content creation and started building something real. And two years later, I've built a content business that's done well over six figures and I'm more confident and secure in myself than I have ever been. And I still want to improve myself every single day. But none of that would have happened if I didn't choose to take responsibility instead of feeling sorry for myself. So lesson two is take full responsibility for everything in your life, good or bad, because it's the fastest way to grow. And this doesn't just go for relationships. If you lost your job, don't blame the boss, just accept it and use it to improve yourself moving forward. Not only will this make you better and more skilled, but it will also make you happier. Blaming others gets you nowhere. So follow @leogibsonmp4 and stick around this month and (hopefully) you'll learn a thing or 2 from my friend.
