Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
Here are five things that I've bought recently that have genuinely improved my life. First is these blue light glasses. Before I actually got them, I did a lot of research on the science behind them. Some people think it's a bleb, but it's actually just real life in the time. When you block out the blue light in the night time. And it could just be a weird coincidence, but I do notice improvement in my sleep when I wear them. So, first they just look cool. Like I just wear them out of the house because I think they look cool. Number two was a holiday. I mean, this is fairly straight to the point, but I've been working very hard. I feel like I needed a break. So, I went on a whole day with a friend and it was great. the is a very idyllic place. I did a lot of journaling, I did a lot of reflecting. It was a lot of quiet time of just walking in silence, which is very good for your brain. Um yeah, and a lot of time to think about stuff and it was it was good. The third one is a high quality hoodie, which is actually the one I'm wearing right now. Now, I've never been a big hoodie, but I just wanted to get a plain gray one for when I'm at the airport because it's a bit easier. Since I've actually bought one, which is like really good quality, like it's really thick, it's really like heavy. I I I've now fallen in love with hoodies I'm like become a hoodie guy. Honestly, makes just chilling in the experience because I feel like still. I still feel cool, but I'm very comfortable. This one's from 7. out to my boy for putting me on because yeah, he did me solid there. Fourth is my keyboard. I don't have a musical bone in my body. I have never played a musical instrument in my life, but I bought a keyboard to try and learn how to play the piano. I spent a few months learning different songs and I I can, you know, I can play a few decent ones now. Being able to practice a skill that you have no experience in at all and to be honest quite bad at everyday just builds unbreakable discipline and honestly it is so good for my brain to learn piano keys. Um, plus it's good for my resilience because I'm honestly quite bad. So every time I mess up, you know, I'm so determined to get it right the next time. Um, and it's a good little like habit and it's a good little skill just to, you know, add a little bit more discipline into my life. Not to mention it's a cool party trick if you ever, you know, pull out an instrument. And the fifth and final thing is candles. I started buying candles at the start of the year to like just light while I'm doing deep work and it has actually changed my game on productivity. I don't know what it is if it's just like the ambivalence of the room or if it's the smell or whatever it is, but whenever I have a candle going, I just need to get so much more work done. There are five things that have improved my life recently. I hope this out my friend and I will see you tomorrow.
