Reasons I regret moving to Canada 🇨🇦 1. Canadians have ruined my expectations The kindness, the community and the pride people have for where they're from is something I'll never stop appreciating 2. I can't drive past a small town anymore Every time I think I've seen enough someone tells me about another place I MUST visit. It started with Elora and led to many, many more. 3. One province was never enough I told myself I'd slow down after British Columbia then the Yukon happened, then Nova Scotia then Saskatchewan... 4. I can't stop planning road trips I finish one and before I've even unpacked I'm already looking at a map wondering where to go next 🇨🇦 5. Canada has ruined ordinary drives Back home a road trip was about getting somewhere. Here the road itself somehow becomes the destination. 6. I've become far too invested in Canadian sports I genuinely celebrate hockey wins now. Nobody saw that coming eh?! 7. I can't go anywhere without extending the trip A quick overnight somehow turns into I'm only a few hours from somewhere else I've always wanted to see 8. My family definitely regrets it They ask how I'm doing. I reply with 27 photos of whatever Canadian town I've fallen in love with this week. 9. I've become that annoying friend Every conversation somehow ends with me saying "You HAVE to go there" 10. My camera roll is completely out of control Somewhere between Lake Louise, Peggy's Cove, Whitehorse and Kelowna I accepted that deleting photos just isn't happening anymore 11. The biggest regret?
