My new favorite part of the World Cup is watching people from around the world hate on Canada. I'm loving the stories I'm hearing from people who've travelled to North America for the first time say that they're shocked that people from America have actually been way more welcoming and nicer than people from Canada. Cause Canada, I have to give it to you guys, you have the best PR team in history. You have convinced the entire world that Americans are the worst people that have ever walked the face of the earth while you Canadians are the nicest, most polite, just absolutely kind people. So the stories I'm hearing that some of you are booing during national anthems, I'll be honest, I didn't look up to see if this was true because I want this to be true, because it's just hilarious. I mean, I like Canadians. I've only really only had one negative interaction I can think of with Canadians, and that's when I travelled overseas for the first time. I went to Greece, I went to this island where everyone just gets drunk for the most part, and I'm meeting people from all around the world. So a common conversation at this one bar was always, hey, where are you guys from? And because the accent of America and Canada sounds so similar, it's very easy that people would think we're all from the same. And I noticed a couple groups of Canadians, they were always like, we're not American. That's how they introduce themselves. They're like, we're not American, they are. And part of me was like, you know what, f you, all right? I'm not saying our country is perfect, you know, we do play God with people's lives for money with our healthcare system. That's not great. We should change that, but we're just not doing it. But anyways, I hope the stories of you booing people at the national anthem and not being as cool of a hang as us are true.
