Calling all creative girlies. If you want to make music, watch until the end. This is FL Studio. I'm gonna show you two main things to get started. Where everything is, and I'm gonna show you how to load instruments. The very top menu has a bunch of buttons. Ignore them. The next section has your tempo and your start and stop button. Next to it is your song position. It tells you where you are in the song, whether you're three seconds in or one minute. Beside that, there's a browser which holds a bunch of different menus. Also has some instruments that you can drag and drop into your timeline. Ones you need to know are these four. This opens your playlist, your channel rack. This is your channel rack. Remember, that's for later. Okay, that's great and all, but I know you want to get to the good part. Here's how to actually load instruments. You open your channel rack button at the very bottom. This is where you'll find your instruments. And you can always add new instruments. And when you do, you'll see under plugins options. Now I have this open and selected a guitar. Remember that piano roll from earlier? It's ways. So many ways to add a melody. You can use your keyboard, mini keyboard, or you can just draw it in like this. So we have something.
