20 years of dust. 25 years of waiting.

I want to be honest with you about something. When I first walked into that warehouse I had absolutely no idea what I was looking at. I just knew I couldn't walk away from it. Twenty years of dust. Boxes stacked to the ceiling. Inventory my dad and my grandfather collected across decades that nobody in my family had touched in who knows how long. . I didn't have a plan. So I started picking things up. One at a time. A cuckoo clock. A religious medallion. A watch that still worked. And slowly my eye started to adjust. Not just to the dark of the warehouse. To the value inside it. To the stories sitting in those boxes. To what my grandfather actually built in there over a lifetime. It’s overwhelming to say the least and I’m constantly learning about new products, eras, manufacturers. But there was a moment, somewhere between the dust and the discovery, when something shifted. I put on a pair of 1960’s vintage sunglasses and for the first time since I walked through those doors...
