nobody's gonna tell you this but you can never outwork a boss who doesn't like you. I don't care if you show up early, I don't care if you stay late, I don't care if you're the best damn person on your team. If your boss already has it in their mind that they don't like you and they don't want you in the team, you will never ever change their mind. I think one of the best skills you can learn in corporate is not just learning who you want to work with, but also understanding who wants to work with you. The hard truth is not everyone's gonna like you because I've learned there's really only a handful of people in your career who can make or break your career. And by far the no. 1 person who has the most impact is gonna be your boss. So if you can already feel from their energy that they don't really like you, they don't want to see you succeed, they'd rather have anybody else do better than you, take that as a sign, take that as a sign and leave and leave as soon as you get those signs. I've seen way too many careers wasted. If you're in that moment right now, just know it's never been about you and it's always on them for you. It still means better for you to go somewhere else and try to change something that will never change. That's my two cents. What would you do if your boss didn't like you? Let me know.
