❌Stop obsessing about why you got ghosted and use that same energy to apply to different jobs. ▪️If you had more options you wouldn’t care as much. ▪️The best thing you can do is apply to other jobs. 👻 For those of you who don’t know what ghosting means, “Ghosting after an interview" means when a potential employer or hiring manager abruptly stops communicating with a job candidate after an interview, leaving them with no updates or feedback regarding the position, essentially disappearing without explanation and not responding to any attempts to contact them And here are 2 reasons why that company ghosted you after your job interview 2️⃣ Let me be really clear and remove any doubt, recruiters know they are ghosting you. They aren’t overwhelmed, they didn’t forget- NOPE! 🫣 It’s one of 2 reasons: they don’t have the guts to tell you that they don’t want to hire you/they chose someone else, or they don’t want to give you closure because they want to keep you on the hook because they worry if they tell you “no” you will go and look for another job. 1️⃣No one is holding recruiters and hiring managers accountable. 🥺 For example, if you get ghosted, what are you going to do? Call their boss? Call the CEO of the company and complain? NOPE! You won’t do that for fear that you will burn a bridge with that company, and they know that. They know that you are powerless, so they feel empowered to treat you however they want because they won’t get in trouble. 📌Stop trying to figure out why they ghosted you apply to other jobs. You interview better when you have more options. #ghosting #interview #work #jobapplication
