When you're asked in a job interview, how are you? There's only one way to answer this question. And no, we do not wanna see your personality. And no, you don't have to come up with something clever and interesting. Absolutely not. This question is a formality. And unlike all of the harder questions that are to come, like, tell me about yourself, why do you wanna work here? What are your strengths and weaknesses? Where do you see yourself in the next five years? This question has one right answer, so don't mess it up, because then you're not gonna get passed on to the next round because you've offered us information that we're not supposed to know. Why are you telling me about the fact that your husband just died? In the first four minutes of an interview? Why are you talking to me about your kids and your husband? I can't legally ask you about any of these things, so do not volunteer this information. The next time someone says to you, how are you? You say, "I'm great, thank you. How are you?"
