I fear that all of the engineers that recommended this book to me were indeed correct. This is considered one of the GOAT books for software engineers, Designing Data-Intensive Applications. Sounds like a boring subject on the surface, but when you actually dig deep into it, it's a bedrock of information of how to reliably scale systems and maintain systems for web apps or web products. I wanted to learn more about system design and scaling up, you know, applications, and this book right here is amazing. And if you're into any of these subjects or even if you're somebody that wants to learn more about the technicals of back-end work and how apps work, read this book, Designing Data-Intensive Applications. Remember, this has been Master Machines where we discover tomorrow's reality.
